Hein Electric Supply is Southeast Wisconsin's largest independent electrical wholesale distributor. Since 1946, we have grown from our original branch on 6th & Wells in downtown Milwaukee, to 9 strategic locations throughout Southeastern Wisconsin including Grafton, West Bend, Brookfield, Oconomowoc, Pewaukee, Oak Creek, Waukesha, Milwaukee, and Waukesha.
2008 Outlook - A Message from Ron Kohlenberg
Thank you for making 2007 another record setting year for Hein Electric Supply Company. Once again we set new levels in several areas of our business. We would like to think that our commitment to quality and our ability to listen to our customer’s wants and needs has earned us a unique position in the marketplace. We also would like to believe that being an independent distributor enables us to respond and react to your wants and needs on a much higher level than national chains located in other parts of the country or overseas.
In the past we have invested our resources most heavily in people, inventory and technology. Our plan is to again focus on these critical areas. We have always believed the most important resource is quality people. In 2008 we plan on acquiring additional quality staff to assure and continue the best customer service in our marketplace. Maintaining qualified personal is our commitment to our customers.
Inventory levels grew exponentially in 2007 allowing us to have in excess of 90% order fills. This order fill rate had a direct positive impact on our customers “hard and soft” costs of doing business. Having enough of the right inventory is our commitment to our customers.
Technology is critical in business. Technology provides cost reductions, elimination of errors and effects evaluation processes. Since the early 1980’s we have committed a substantial amount of our resources to technology. We have already started the implementation of a major hardware and software upgrade. Being on the leading edge of technology is our commitment to our customers.
